Description
The specimen shows a portion of liver and the gall-bladder. The gall-bladder is greatly enlarged
and is pale in colour, reflecting its pale mucoid contents. The wall is thickened from chronic
inflammation and the cystic duct, which has been opened, shows the obstructing gallstones.
